Invent Alliance Limited is a company known for its specialized creation in multi business platform with partnerships for value co-creation in each of the different business segments through modern co-petition business principles. Her business process outsourcing specializes in providing flexible, high quality and customized customer support outsourcing solutions with emphasis on inbound and outbound communication channels. Invent Alliance Limited is a pace setter and an exemplary of how businesses processes are carried out. As a result of this, ten students from the National Open University (NOUN) visited the Invent facility as a whole for their Industrial Training last Thursday the 6th of April, 2023.
They are students from the Entrepreneurship Department of the National Open University, Lagos. The visit kicked off with a welcome address given by Salome Okonkwo and a brief introduction about the diverse businesses and Invent Alliance Limited itself by Dumebi Ejeteh. After which the students, led by Salome and Michelle were led to the various Heads of Business units to give a brief summary of what they were into. They were first led to the Contact center unit where Salome briefly introduced them to the facility with the different solutions on customer support and operation on inbound and outbound calls, next was the IT department were Obinna showed them the server room and other details of IT support to other business units, he also spoke about invent powers and systems then they were taken to the warehouse, Idris showed them how to use the forklift and explained in general what the operations in the warehouse was like. Then Cosmos spoke about 478 Limited, the importation and distribution of UK groceries to supermarkets across Lagos state he went further to talk about the sales of Oven Fresh products. Next on, they were taken to the Laundry and the Apartments. Greg also gave brief summary on the importance of hospitality and how operations were run on the businesses. The bakery was where they spent a lot of time as Mr. Okey carefully explained the production process and the use of the different equipment’s for production.
The students later assembled back into the conference room where a question and answer session was held with the Mangers present to answer their questions. The students said Invent Alliance was indeed worthy of emulation as they could not get over the fact that one business birthed another and as well a success. Above all, the students expressed their excitements individually/generally about their experiences. They were overwhelmed by what they had seen and heard. They confessed that it was indeed an intriguing moment and that they had learned a lot from the different units and hope to implement and execute at some point.
We all gathered downstairs to take a group picture, refreshment was given to the students then they dispersed.
